Compass Community Services (CCS) partners with public school districts to provide school-embedded student support services focused on executive functioning, emotional regulation, and skill development.
Our work is designed to align with school systems, strengthen collaboration between teams, and support students within real educational environments.
Our mission is to help schools support students in building the executive functioning, emotional regulation, and organizational skills needed to succeed academically and function effectively within school settings.
We do this by partnering with districts to deliver structured, school-embedded supports that prioritize clarity of roles, consistency across services, and practical skill development.
We believe student support is most effective when it is structured, skill-focused, and responsive to the realities of the school environment.
We work in partnership with educators, administrators, and families to ensure student supports align with school procedures, expectations, and team structures.
Our work emphasizes practical, transferable skills—such as executive functioning, emotional regulation, and organization—that support students’ success across academic and developmental contexts

Doug oversees the design and implementation of evidence-informed interventions, supports district teams through behavioral and clinical consultation, and guides CCS’s strategic growth as it prepares to expand its school-based services.
Co-CEO & Operations Director
Scott has dedicated over 25 years to developing, leading, and operating programs and schools that serve at-risk youth. Throughout his career, he has risen to prominent executive roles, including Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), consistently demonstrating strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a steadfast commitment to positive outcomes. His work has centered on elevating the well-being of vulnerable and marginalized populations, ensuring that every initiative he guides is grounded in compassion, accountability, and can demonstrate measurable success. Scott’s leadership has helped build student-support models that truly work—creating environments where young people feel seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Compass Community Services is designed to function within school systems, not alongside or outside of them. Our services are fully embedded within school buildings and aligned with district procedures, team structures, and expectations.
We work side-by-side with administrators, teachers, counselors, and families to support students in ways that are coordinated, role-aligned, and sustainable. Rather than offering isolated services, CCS integrates clinical services, consultation, executive functioning support, and structured mentoring into a cohesive support model.
Our approach emphasizes:
Clear differentiation between clinical and non-clinical roles
Practical, skills-based support that can be applied within daily school routines
Consistency across staff, settings, and service types
Collaboration that strengthens existing systems rather than replacing them
This structure allows CCS to support meaningful student progress while maintaining clarity, accountability, and alignment with district needs.
Compass Community Services does not provide outpatient therapy, private practice counseling, crisis intervention, or emergency services.
